Hyper-realistic FAFSA Prototype

Another designer and I collaborated to create what is likely the most complex design prototype ever developed —and has been used over 2 million times! This prototype, designed in Axure, incorporates highly intricate branching logic, including IF/AND statements, JavaScript injections, countless dynamic panels, and the list could go on. It was a true test of our technical design prowess.

While not an exact replica of the 2025–26 FAFSA form available on studentaid.gov, this prototype allows users to navigate specific scenarios that many applicants will encounter on the live website.
